Good morning!

This is a little different from the usual, but here's a peek into the process. And who knows; maybe, this will be normal-ish. I haven't been great at updating the blog this year. But now, I'm back to full-time writing for a little while.

Yesterday was a revision day. I revised 3 chapters and started on a new one that's being inserted...because even when you plot, sometimes, things come up. Added almost 1500 new words to it and this book is officially 863 words from being double the intended length. Oops.

Also pulled out the book I'll be (re)starting in July. And... I don't know how, but last year when I started it, I somehow managed to name the main male character (mmc) the same as the mmc in the book I'm currently revising. Worse, I somehow managed to name the new mmc's brother the same as one of the main side characters in this book. No idea how. They're not names like James or Tom or John.

At the moment, I'm (still) working on several books.

I'm ALMOST done with all three of them. I mean, seriously, so almost that I could be done with all three this month still. That's how close I am. Once I'm done with these, I'll be moving on to:

YES! Oh my goodness. We're going back to Daly. And fun fact: Exes and Ohs is the first book that I ever concepted for Cherish Cove. Long before Light My Fire and Beach Please, there was this book. I have a notebook filled with notes and the outline on my computer dates back to May of 2017.

Sometimes, books are a long time coming. Exes and Ohs spins off Promposal Dare, the female main character (FMC) being the older sister of Fable, the FMC of Promposal Dare.

Daring Their Rebel has been back-burnered for a couple months, but it's plotted and ready to go, too. I'm excited to get back to Daly. We'll revisit old characters, but these five are all new.

Then there's Run Away With Me. Lili is the cousin of Grace from Rebound in the You Forever and Always series. And...this one threw me because it doesn't fit the pretty little Michigan Upper Peninsula, small-town plan I'd envisioned. No, the hero is a Blue Angel and the book takes place in Florida. Because of that, it got back-burner for a while because I wasn't sure what to do with it. And that's after it's fully plotted and I have several chapters written. I'm guessing this series will have two wings (pun totally intended) - the Michigan part and the Military part.

Back Burner is the theme of the day. All of these books have been in the background "haunting" me with cries of "finish me". So I am.

That's about it. Back with updates later this week.
