Yes, I’m still writing, but what I write and how I write has changed.
Over the years, you may have noticed a difference in my regular genres. Less ménage, less BDSM, less M/M. I’ve noticed it’s become increasingly difficult to write those. Maybe due to life changes or market changes? I don’t know.
Now, before anyone freaks out: I am NOT abandoning Daly Way or Tradition Bound. I’m still working on the stories. I’m committed to four more Tradition Bound and three more Daly Way. Daly Way is open-ended though, so who knows how many more there will be.
When I was writing for publishers, I wrote what they wanted and/or what they said their particular readers wanted. Now, that I’m an indie, I’m looking at what Brynn wants and what most of the readers I interact with want—most, not all. In the past year or so, I’ve felt myself leaning toward more traditional stories. Steamy, traditional m/f romances. They make me really happy to write. They feel good to me, maybe because they’re what I grew up on. Maybe because it was those books that made me fall in love with romance.
I never realized just how important it is to adore what you’re writing.
Which leads to my m/m books... This is an important genre with outstanding authors in it. I’m not one of them. It’s just not my genre. At this point, I will not be releasing any more of them. I have a few m/m books that have not been re-released, and they’re in rewrites to convert the stories to m/f. This is a complete overhaul with new content added.
As part of the process of these few books, I will be including a link in the back of the revised story that will allow readers to get the original m/m book for free.

Dakota Rebel and I are celebrating Christmas in July, feature our Christmas books. We're doing some live chats (First one is today, July 8 at 7 PM est on Dakota rebel's Facebook page) and giving away some books. I'm also releasing Holiday Bound and tonight we'll be announcing another surprise.
