Last year, I wrote this vampire book, Vampire Bait, and in it, you met Avery, a vampire who happened to be pregnant. A pregnant vampire? Yes, it intrigued me too.

So I set out to find out how that had happened to this couple. In Vampire Bait, I hinted that the same thing that happened to Alphie (VB's hero) had happened to Avery's mate, Jared.
